MORNING ENTRY & DISMISSAL

Scholars will enter in the morning and be dismissed only from these ENTRY AND DISMISSAL DOORS.

  • Pre-K:                        Exit 10 (Inner Courtyard before the Auditorium)

    Kindergarten:             Exit 2 (Inner Courtyard by the cafeteria)

    First:                           Exit 2 (Inner Courtyard by the cafeteria)

    Second:                      Exit 2 (Inner Courtyard by the cafeteria)

    Third:                          Exit 5 (207th Street)

    Fourth:                       Exit 5 (207th Street)

    Fifth:                          Exit 5 (207th Street)

BREAKFAST & LUNCH

Grab and Go Breakfast will be available daily from 7:40 AM-8:00 AM. There is only breakfast on the go. Click here to view the school food menu.

DISMISSAL

Scholars will be dismissed at the times mentioned above. Parents will line up on social distancing markings and wait for their child to be dismissed.

LATE PICK UP ( After 2:25 PM)

All parents or guardians that are listed on the blue card must wait outside the school building until a staff member brings your scholar to you at the designated area. Parents/Guardians are no longer allowed into the building to pick up their scholar. Once your scholar is brought to you outside the school building, parents/guardians must sign their scholar out in the school Sign Out book which requires a parent’s signature, date, and time. Parents/Guardians are expected to wear face covers and practice Social Distancing outside while waiting for their scholar.   

  • Late Pick up after 2:25PM for ALL GRADES - Exit 5

All adults who are picking up a scholar in an emergency situation must be listed on the Emergency Blue Card. If the person who is picking up the scholar is not on the blue card, then the parent may email (please see previous section for administrator’s email addresses) or fax permission to release their child to a non-blue card adult with the Principal or Assistant Principal’s consent (718-464-8448). The person who is picking up the child must sign the student out from the P.S. 135 School Sign Out book and provide a picture ID.

 We understand that emergencies may occur. However, our expectations are that all children will be picked up by dismissal.

School Day: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m. Monday – Friday  

  • Morning Line-Up and Dismissal:

  • Pre-K: 8:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

  • Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

  • First Grade: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

  • Second Grade: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

  • Third Grade: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

  • Fourth Grade: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

  • Fifth Grade: 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

  • Dismissal  2:16 PM - 2:20 PM        

Arrival/Dismissal Schedule: 

  • K-5 will be dismissed starting at 2:18PM – 2:20 PM

  • Pre-K Students Arrival: 8:05 AM

  • Pre-K Students Dismissal: 2:10 PM

  • LATE PICK UP AFTER 2:20PM: EXIT 5

PARENT / VISITORS ENTRY

The Bellaire School will limit visitors during this time. We strongly suggest scheduling a virtual/call meeting with your scholars teacher during office hours by contact them by email. Under certain circumstances you may be allowed entry by appointment.
