Understanding the 13 Categories of Special Education
Date: February 7th, 2017
Time: 4:00PM – 5:00PM
Location: Room 313
Navigating through the Special Education process can be confusing and overwhelming. Public School 135 has created a series of workshop to answer parent’s questions and provide easy to understand information about Special Education. This four part series address accessing and understanding special education with a focus on collaboratively working with the school to support your children. Workshops are designed for parents and guardians: however, the information is appropriate for all adults interested in learning more about Special Education.
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with other parents. Light refreshments will be served. Children are welcome; however, childcare is not provided.
There are numerous opportunities throughout the City where you can enjoy free classical music concerts on professional levels.
