Writing is an essential skill. It is more than just putting words on paper. Writing is a process of communication that plays an important role in your child’s life, both in and out of the classroom. Parents can make a big difference in helping a child develop writing skills by encouraging writing activities that are simple and fun. The following workshop will focus on activities parents can do with their child to promote writing at home. It will also focus on a Teachers College Writing lesson from start to finish. Please feel free to bring your child. Light refreshments will be served.
This Fall our 3rd-grade students participated in an early morning fitness program called BOKS. Students exercised and learned a variety of new sports before school. Anyone interested in participating in the Winter program please see Mr. Nelmes.
